That crossover matters because football still brings the biggest global reach in sport, and padel wants the spillover. beIN Media Group has already spent years building that bridge, saying it has been the home of Premier Padel Tour events in the Middle East and North Africa, Türkiye, Asia-Pacific and North America since 2022. When FIFA, FIP and Premier Padel gather under the same roof in Miami, the value is not just symbolism. It is access to a wider media machine, a broader commercial pitch and a cleaner way to sell padel to sponsors that already understand football’s scale.

Miami is also becoming more than a one-off stage. Premier Padel and FIP have put the city on their official calendars, and Miami Premier Padel P1 is scheduled for March 23-29, 2026 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. That event is being billed as the first Premier Padel tournament in the United States, a milestone that gives the sport a proper North American reference point rather than a series of scattered exhibitions.

The timing fits the sport’s broader push in South Florida, where new clubs have been opening in downtown Miami, North Miami and elsewhere in the region. That matters because padel does not grow like a tournament-only property. It grows when the courts arrive, when local players can book time, and when the calendar starts to look permanent instead of promotional.

For Premier Padel, the Miami crossover with FIFA and FIP was a proof of concept. If football’s global power brokers are willing to show up for padel in Miami, the sport gets something more valuable than a photo op: a faster lane into markets it still needs to win.
