Ben Clarke, known as Big Ben, won his third straight FootGolf World Tour title after beating 3,698 competitors, a run that gave the young sport its clearest benchmark for greatness.

That dominance mattered because Clarke did not even know FootGolf existed in 2014, and his first shot went straight into a tree. In a game that blends soccer striking with golf-like scoring, that quick rise from beginner to standard-setter showed how FootGolf could turn a newcomer into a world-class player through repetition, course control and nerve. By 2020, Clarke was 28, had quit his job as a PE teacher to play full time, and had already stacked up titles that reached beyond the World Tour.
