B.O.M.B.S. win 2026 Coed Advanced title at Queen City Classic

B.O.M.B.S. won the 2026 Coed Advanced title at the Queen City Classic, turning a March 7-8 weekend at Harrisburg Sportsplex into a statement result on the Goombay Kickball TOUR. The championship came at a Goombay Charlotte event that brought coed and women’s teams to one of the circuit’s more recognizable stops.

That matters because the Queen City Classic is not positioned as a casual local run-through. Goombay Charlotte described the tournament as a weekend-long competitive kickball event for teams across the country, and the broader Goombay brand carries history behind it. Goombay Charlotte is the Charlotte branch of the long-standing league, while Goombay Adventurers says the organization has been providing adventures and sports leagues for youth and adults nationwide since 1988.

The Coed Advanced division is where that backdrop becomes more than branding. Advanced tournament play usually rewards teams that can handle multiple games, keep composure under pressure and match opponents who already understand the speed and structure of weekend kickball. B.O.M.B.S. emerged from that level of competition as the champion, giving the club a title that lands well beyond a single bracket win.

The event itself showed the scale of the Goombay calendar. Alongside coed play, the Queen City Classic also included a women’s division, with women’s registration listed at $65 through Feb. 16. That combination of divisions and the Harrisburg Sportsplex setting made the tournament feel like a full circuit stop rather than a one-off local gathering.

For Goombay Charlotte, the result reinforced the city’s place on the adult kickball map. For B.O.M.B.S., it added a marquee championship from a tour that treats its recurring weekend events as defining markers in the season. On a circuit built around reputation as much as runs scored, the Queen City Classic crown put B.O.M.B.S. at the top of the 2026 coed advanced field.
