City of Moline tops coed bracket in Quad Cities corporate dodgeball
City of Moline, Vibrant Credit Union and Deloitte won their brackets at Bettendorf Community Center during the Quad Cities Corporate Games dodgeball run from Tuesday, July 7, through Thursday, July 9, at 2204 Grant St. in Bettendorf, with teams told to be ready at 6 p.m. because matches could move fast and carry past 8 p.m.
Division 1 ended with City of Moline on top, followed by City of Bettendorf, Modern Woodmen, Scott County, IHMVCU and The Arc of QC. The bracket showed City of Bettendorf working past Arconic and Scott County on its way into the late rounds, while Moline advanced through the opposite side of the draw and won the coed bracket. Modern Woodmen of America led the Division 1 leaderboard through dodgeball with 9,492 points, followed by City of Moline at 7,014 and Scott County at 6,451. City of Bettendorf was sixth at 4,739.

Division 2 went to Vibrant Credit Union, which finished ahead of Lincoln Electric, MAA, Iowa American Water, QCBT and Schebler. Lincoln Electric and Vibrant both survived multiple elimination matches. Lincoln Electric Automation led Division 2 with 9,161 points, while Vibrant was seventh at 4,100.

Division 3 went to Deloitte, with Quad Cities Club Scouts second, Iowa DOC third, Streamline Architects fourth, Rouse & Restore fifth and MABS sixth. Quad Cities Club Scouts led Division 3 at 7,976 points, Iowa DOC was second at 7,389 and Deloitte third at 7,104.

The 2026 Quad Cities Corporate Games are in their sixth year, run from late May through July 31, and bring together employees, interns and retirees from registered Quad Cities businesses, municipalities and government entities in more than 20 sports, events and challenges. Medals go to the top three in each event within each company division, and Corporate Cup trophies will be handed out at the awards celebration on Friday, August 14, at noon at Quad City Tennis Center, 1522 47th Ave., Moline.
