Ducks’ Bauer, Robson and Santos named Atlantic League All-Stars

Trevor Bauer, Jacob Robson and Ramon Santos landed on the 2026 Mid-Season All-Star Team, giving the Long Island Ducks three selections on the 17-player squad. Long Island was one of only two clubs with that many, while Southern Maryland led the league with four.

Bauer’s spot was built on dominance at the front of the rotation. The right-hander went 5-1 with a 2.36 ERA and 66 strikeouts against seven walks in 42.0 innings over seven starts. He threw a seven-inning no-hitter at Lancaster on April 26, then followed it with a franchise-record 15 strikeouts against Gastonia on May 12. The run earned him the Atlantic League’s April and May Pitcher of the Month honor before his contract was transferred to Diablos Rojos del Mexico on June 22.

Robson supplied the everyday offense that kept the Ducks from leaning too heavily on pitching. In 57 games, the 31-year-old outfielder from London, Ontario, hit .272 with a .390 on-base percentage and a .988 OPS, while tying for second in the league with a .598 slugging percentage and tying for fifth with 17 home runs. He also drove in 47 runs, scored 59, collected 62 hits, doubled 13 times, tripled four times and stole 23 bases, all while committing just one error in the outfield. It was his first season in Long Island after reaching the majors with Detroit in 2021.

Santos was the late-inning answer, and the only unanimous selection on the all-star team. The right-hander led the Atlantic League with nine saves and posted a 0.95 ERA in 19.0 innings, striking out 42 and allowing only seven hits and 11 walks. He was 1-1 in 18 appearances. Across three seasons in Long Island from 2024-26, he built an 11-3 record, a 0.64 ERA, 29 saves and 155 strikeouts in 84.2 innings over 82 games. His contract was transferred to Saraperos de Saltillo on June 27.

The Ducks are the Atlantic League’s all-time leader in wins and attendance, have led all MLB Partner Leagues in total attendance for five straight seasons and have sold out a record 726 games. The second half begins July 3, and postseason play is set for September 15.
