Eisenhower Kickball Eagles win 3rd Coast Adult Kickball League championship

The Eisenhower Kickball Eagles completed the 90s Summer Kickball Tournament bracket with the 3rd Coast Adult Kickball League championship, a result highlighted in a July 26 Facebook post that doubled as a bracket update and a title celebration. The post put the Eagles, also known as Big Ike in related league chatter, at the center of the summer run.

The bracket format gave the win its shape. Instead of a loose set of pickup games, the 90s Summer theme framed the tournament as an elimination path, with each round feeding into the next until the Eagles emerged as the final champion. That kind of setup gives adult kickball a sharper edge, because every result changes the bracket and every graphic becomes part of the weekend story.

The championship also landed inside Houston’s wider adult kickball network. HTX Kickball has described the 3rd Coast Adult Kickball League as being underway in Houston, and its league update from 2023 showed how much crossover exists between the two scenes: 84 players in 3rd Coast also played in HTX, and 29 of them made their debut in HTX before moving on to 3rd Coast. That overlap helps explain why a championship announcement can travel quickly through the local kickball circuit, where rosters and rivalries often extend across multiple leagues.

The Eagles’ title has also been framed as a repeat run. HTX Kickball has described the team as "Back2Back Champs," turning this win into more than a single bracket finish and placing Eisenhower among the league’s standard-bearers. A separate 3rd Coast Alumni Kickball League photo referenced "Eisenhower Eagles Alumni Kickball" alongside the Missouri City Raiders, another sign that the Eisenhower name has a footprint beyond one tournament bracket.

For the 3rd Coast Adult Kickball League, the result gave the 90s Summer bracket a clear ending and the Houston scene a familiar winner. The Eagles closed the tournament with a championship label that now sits alongside their growing place in the region’s adult kickball hierarchy.
