FIFG’s own scheduling reinforces that status. The Belgian Open appears in the federation’s BlueGolf event listings, and its 2026 competition materials include a selected majors and FIFG 500 list for Region 3, Europe. That places the tournament inside a formal calendar rather than as a standalone showcase, and it helps explain why FIFG is promoting it a month out instead of waiting for the first tee shot.

The buildup also fits FIFG’s wider 2026 calendar strategy.
