First Serve Muncie highlights busy month and Hacker Revival racquetball action
1st Serve Muncie used its Facebook page on Aug. 4 to say “what a month it has been” at First Serve Muncie Racquet Club, and the post was tied to 2026 Hacker Revival tournament results. That is the clearest sign yet that the club’s launch has turned into real court activity, not just a ribbon-cutting photo.
The strongest result in the available tournament notes came from the Boys 14U draw, where Jackson Ambler defeated Dylan Zacek 6-1, 6-0 to claim the singles championship. Dominick Huff won the Boys 14U consolation singles title, giving the event at least two named winners and showing there was enough depth to run a full consolation side alongside the main bracket.
The run-up to that activity started with the club’s official grand opening at 3500 N. Chadam Lane in Muncie, Indiana. A post set the celebration for July 10-11, 2026, with a ribbon cutting at 8:00 a.m. on July 10 and an open house that included free tennis and pickleball activities. Another Facebook snippet placed the grand opening on Friday, July 10, from Noon to 5:00 PM, a long enough window to bring in more than a quick ceremonial crowd.
First Serve Muncie’s own website shows a facility built for steady use, not a one-off event. It describes the venue as indoor tennis and pickleball courts in Muncie and already lists membership, cardio tennis, tennis, pickleball and staff in its navigation. That kind of structure matters in a place trying to convert launch-week interest into repeat traffic, because it gives players reasons to come back after the opening weekend ends.
The club also posted, “The Hacker Revival Schedule is Up!” and told players, parents and coaches they could view it on the club’s website. Put together with the Aug. 4 racquetball update and the tournament results, the picture is of a club trying to stack programming fast: a grand opening, a posted schedule, tournament action and enough court-side activity to justify a month-in-review post less than a month after the July launch.
