Germany to host Youth FootGolf World Cup 2026 at Gahlenz Complex
Germany will host the Youth FootGolf World Cup 2026 at the Gahlenz Golf Complex in Saxony, where all competition, accommodation, catering and supervision will be concentrated on one site. The tournament is set for 16-19 July 2026 and will use two full 18-hole FootGolf courses at the same location, permanent FootGolf infrastructure and central clubhouse facilities that keep players inside one managed campus.
FIFG divides youth competition into four individual categories: Boys 13-15, Girls 13-15, Boys 16-18 and Girls 16-18. The age lines are based on birth year, with the younger bands open to players born in 2010 or later and the older bands to players born in 2007 or later. Players may compete one year below the minimum age of a category, and players who turn 19 during the 2026 calendar year can still be eligible if they qualified through official 2025 events.

Any player seeking a place must hold a valid FIFG World Tour or Recreational License and be registered under a recognized FIFG member country. Every participant must also complete mandatory anti-doping education, a requirement tied to FIFG’s 2025 partnership with the International Testing Agency.
Each FIFG member country receives one spot per category, with extra places tied to youth-license activity in 2025 and 2026 up to May 15. Countries must run a full national qualification process under FIFG rules, and every qualifying tournament must be published on BlueGolf. Any competition not published there is invalid for qualification purposes unless full 2025 results are submitted to the FIFG Youth Committee. Any qualification process outside FIFG’s official system is invalid.

The optional Nation Team Event is a mixed doubles stroke-play competition over 18 holes, scored by lowest combined team score, with one boy and one girl from the same country in each age category and no cross-nation teams allowed. FIFG’s hosting choice in Germany followed reviews of course quality, facilities, food and beverage, accommodation, safety standards and contractual guarantees. FIFG’s member-country rules require transparency, accountability, gender equity, non-discrimination and fairness.
