Hamilton crowns three champions in USA Dodgeball Premier Tour opener

Windy City Corruption, Super Sluggers and The Real Miami left Hamilton with the first three no-sting crowns of USA Dodgeball’s 2026 Premier Tour, turning the April 25-26 stop at Arena 1 in Hamilton, Ohio, into an early benchmark for the season. Hamilton was Tour Stop #3, a two-day event built around No-Sting play in Open, Women’s and Mixed divisions.

Total Sports Hub listed the ball type as No-Sting and required six registered players to field a team, while USA Dodgeball waived the membership fee for all No-Sting players in Hamilton and Portland. That combination made the opener easier to enter and harder to win, because the no-sting format strips away some of the fear that shapes standard dodgeball. Teams can throw earlier, move faster and press transitions without relying on the threat of pain to freeze opponents.

The winners reflected that shift. Windy City Corruption took Open No Sting, Super Sluggers claimed Women’s No Sting and The Real Miami won Mixed No Sting, giving the first no-sting round a clean sweep across the three championship paths. In a format like this, the result is about more than title count. Open play usually rewards the deepest roster and the cleanest rotation under pressure, and Windy City Corruption proved it could handle that load. Super Sluggers did the same in the women’s bracket, where timing and spacing matter as much as raw velocity. The Real Miami’s mixed title carried the sharpest signal of all, because mixed teams have to stay balanced from end to end and keep every player engaged in the attack and the recovery.

That is why Hamilton matters as a first read on the no-sting era. The clubs that won here were not just throwing harder or surviving longer. They adapted fastest to a format that rewards speed, positioning and ball control, the traits that travel well when the tour moves on to the next stop. Minneapolis had already been listed as Tour Stop #2, and Hamilton’s three champions now give the rest of the Premier Tour a set of early markers for where the title race stands.
