International Padel Cluster targets Italy’s booming market at Padelness & Sport 2026

The International Padel Cluster will exhibit at Padelness e Sport 2026 in Naples, putting its more than 130 member companies and 160-plus brands in front of one of padel’s deepest markets. The fair runs 20-22 November 2026 at Mostra d'Oltremare, and the cluster has described it as Italy’s largest B2C padel and sports exhibition.

Italy is the draw. The International Padel Federation said in June 2025 that the country had already gone past 10,000 padel courts, making it the world’s second-largest market by court count behind Spain. The same ranking appears in the FIP World Padel Report 2025, which also says padel has more than 35 million players worldwide and that global court numbers rose 15.2 percent in a single year. In Italy, that growth has created a market large enough to support a dense network of clubs, installers, manufacturers and event operators.

The numbers explain why Naples matters so much for a business-facing event. SGI Europe reported in February 2025 that Italy had 9,694 courts in 2024, up 8.3 percent from the previous year, and said the country had crossed the 4,000 indoor-court milestone that year. That mix of outdoor and indoor infrastructure makes Italy not just a participation market, but a proving ground for court construction, surfacing, lighting, maintenance and operating models. For companies in the International Padel Cluster, a presence at Padelness is about more than visibility; it is a chance to find partners in a market where the commercial stack around the sport is maturing fast.

Padelness already has a track record of drawing attention. The first edition attracted 10,000 visitors, a sign that the show can pull both consumers and industry operators into the same space. With Naples increasingly used as a showcase city for the sport, the event offers a live test of where padel’s next commercial battles will be fought: in supply chains, partnerships and the race to serve a market that is already one of Europe’s most competitive.
