Legends Padel Tour gives UK seniors a competitive pathway

Legends Padel Tour is giving UK players in their 60s and 70s a calendar of tournaments and bespoke coaching camps, with co-founder Sally Fisher and Nicky Horn trying to make senior padel a pathway, not a one-off. The project is aimed at players who want to keep competing while still managing the realities of age, and Fisher has said it should be a place where they are “seen, appreciated and respected.” Legends Padel describes itself as “the UK’s Ultimate 60+ Padel Community” and says it was founded in 2023.

The clearest proof came at the inaugural Legends Padel 4 Nations in Bradford. Fifty players across the 60+, 65+ and 70+ age groups represented England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland at Strike Padel Bradford on 27-28 November, giving the event the shape of a serious multi-nation competition rather than a social hit-around. The Legends Padel website says England were crowned 2025 champions at the same venue, and participants described the Bradford tournament as “awakening new aspirations” and “rekindling the thrill of competition.”

That matters because the tour is not built around a single championship weekend. Legends’ own site lists leagues, tournaments, Mixicanos and holidays, while Pokita says its events now include training camps and Mixicano matchplay sessions organised and run by Nicky Horn. That mix gives over-60s something padel has often lacked for older players: a recurring structure with coaching attached, not just entry into an age category. The Padel Paper had already reported Legends Padel’s first 65+ ranking event before the Bradford 4 Nations, which suggests the project is already moving from launch idea to an actual competitive ladder.

The wider British seniors scene is also filling out around it. The Bandeja published a 2025 seniors series dates article on October 23, 2024, while the LTA said Great Britain’s senior teams competed at the FIP Senior European Padel Championships in Alicante in 2023 and later delivered strong results at the 2025 FIP Senior Euro Padel Cup. In November 2024, the LTA, WimX Learning and Legends Padel hosted a Female Participation Day at Rocket Padel Ilford, with 30 female coaches and players on court. The LTA had already identified Fisher as GB Seniors lead in a February 2023 newsletter, where she was organising senior ladies padel training and coaching.

Horn and Fisher also took that network beyond Britain, travelling to Casablanca for a tournament in Morocco. Put together, the pieces show a senior model with more than sentiment behind it: coaching, rankings, mixed-age competition and travel, all wrapped into one circuit. For clubs looking to keep older players in the game, that is the most usable part of the Legends blueprint.
