Munster FootGolf and 18 Putts pitch year-round indoor leisure mix

An Instagram reel posted July 24 put Munster FootGolf and 18 Putts forward as a weather-proof stop where footgolf sat beside indoor golf, mini golf, simulator golf and interactive games. The caption text was dated July 21, and the pitch was plain: this was about a few hours of mixed leisure, not a one-off round.

That matters for FootGolf because the venue was selling access, not just novelty. A serious golfer could use the simulator setup, a first-timer could try footgolf, and a family could mix in mini golf without needing an outdoor course, a tournament entry or even a perfect forecast. The reel made the sport look less like a specialist outing and more like something a wider group could absorb into the same visit.

Munster Foot Golf’s own site backs that up with separate pages for Munster Foot Golf and 18 Putts Mini Golf, plus group offerings that include kids parties, school tours and team building. On Facebook, Munster Footgolf calls itself the “First purpose built Footgolf course in the mid west” and lists adults at €13, under-16s at €8 and ball hire at €2. The same listing gives John’s contact details as +353 87 612 1410 and john@munsterfootgolf.com.

The mini-golf side has also been tied to Shannon and County Clare as part of a broader leisure mix. A Facebook post for 18Putts says “MUNSTER FOOTGOLF & 18PUTTS MINI GOLF, SHANNON” and invites families to a game of footgolf and mini golf, while Visit Clare lists 18 Putts as an activity in County Clare. That is the clearest sign yet that the venue is being positioned as more than a single-sport stop.

Pricing on the mini-golf side has been pushed at the value end of the market too. In May 2025, 18 Putts Minigolf was described as opening at 12PM the next day, with prices starting from €6. By 2026, Tripadvisor’s Province of Munster mini-golf rankings still included 18putts among local attractions, alongside Smuggler’s Cove Adventure Centre, Dingle Pitch & Putt, The Caddyshack, Ballybunion Crazy Golf and Jurassic Par Mini-Golf Limerick.

Taken together, the reel and the venue listings show a business trying to turn FootGolf into a year-round gateway, with indoor golf and mini golf doing the heavy lifting on days when a full outdoor round would not be the easiest sell.
