National Dodgeball Association posts Detroit bracket results update

The National Dodgeball Association posted a Detroit bracket-results update on August 8, putting East Lansing Final Justice, Lansing Leviathans, Columbus Gamecocks, Rubber City Resistance, Queen City Royals and Chicago Grim into one competitive snapshot. For a regional dodgeball circuit, that kind of bracket is the day’s ledger, showing which clubs are in the mix and how the field is being sorted in Detroit.

Final Justice carried the heaviest résumé into that bracket. The NDA team page lists Nick Fedewa, Josh Kramer, Barry Butler III, Jacob Georges, Jack Girling, Matt Barriball, Brent Weakland, Eric Rapp, Wes Peters and Kevin Nguyen on the East Lansing roster. The club’s Instagram profile identifies Final Justice as a 2024 NDA national champion based in East Lansing, Michigan, and affiliated with MSU dodgeball. A separate Final Justice post said the team was headed to NDA Detroit looking for its third title on the regular season.

That East Lansing presence matters because the program sits inside a Michigan pipeline that has kept producing results. Michigan State’s club coed and women’s dodgeball teams claimed national titles on April 24, and a 2024 State News article said MSU’s club men’s team won the National Collegiate Dodgeball Association championship in both 2023 and 2024. Those results give the East Lansing name real weight whenever it shows up in a Detroit bracket.

The bracket itself also highlighted the spread of the Midwest dodgeball scene. The tagged clubs stretched from East Lansing and Lansing to Columbus, Ohio, the Akron-Cleveland area through Rubber City Resistance, Cincinnati through Queen City Royals, and Chicago, Illinois through Chicago Grim. That geography makes Detroit a central stop rather than a local exhibition, with clubs traveling in from multiple cities and every completed matchup narrowing the road to later rounds.

For the teams still standing, the update set the stakes for the rest of the event. A bracket at this stage is not just a graphic, it is the competitive map for placement games and the title path ahead, and the names attached to Detroit show that the National Dodgeball Association’s Midwest field remains deep, established and tightly packed.
