Oakland, Salt Lake showdown could reshape West playoff seeding

With Oakland having clinched the West at 7-1 and Salt Lake listed among the teams looking likely for the playoffs, the matchup carried seeding, momentum and point-differential implications that stretched well beyond one regular-season result.

WatchUFA’s live stream for Oakland at Salt Lake began at 9:00 PM ET, and pre-game coverage with Evan Lepler and Ian Toner was canceled because of weather concerns. That left the game to stand on its own as a national showcase in a division where both clubs had already seen enough of each other to know the stakes and the tendencies.
