Orange County SC looks to extend unbeaten run at Hartford Athletic

Orange County SC will take a six-match unbeaten run to Trinity Health Stadium on Wednesday, July 8, at 7 p.m. ET, 4 p.m. PT, and the trip to Hartford Athletic is starting to look like a real test of whether that form is built to last. The Black and Orange are defending first place in the Western Conference, but their own preview says the summer has turned into a longer road stretch because Championship Soccer Stadium has been occupied by the U.S. men’s national team as a FIFA World Cup training base.

The numbers underline why this matchup matters. In an official USL Championship standings snapshot, Orange County sat third overall with 26 points from 14 matches, while Hartford was 15th with 11 points from 14.
