Scott strikes out 12 as York routs Lancaster 12-1
Braden Scott turned a blistering night at WellSpan Park into a statement outing, striking out 12 over eight innings as York rolled past Lancaster 12-1. Scott allowed one run on 10 hits and did not walk a batter, holding his stuff deep into a 100-degree game that ended with the Revolution sending a clear message to the rest of the division.
The win gave York a 36-28 record and stretched its winning streak to four, but Scott’s workload carried the sharpest edge of the night. He became the first York pitcher to record multiple 12-strikeout games and pushed his season total beyond 100 strikeouts in his 13th start, a marker that underscored how quickly he has become one of the Atlantic League’s most difficult arms to handle.
York gave Scott early breathing room once the offense finally broke through in the fourth inning. Jacob Teter and Devonte Brown each launched two-run home runs to put the Revolution ahead 4-0, and Lancaster spent the rest of the night trying to climb out of a hole it never really narrowed.

The knockout blow came in the fifth, when Jackson Ross hit a three-run homer to widen the margin and keep the pressure on Lancaster’s bullpen. York kept adding from there, with RBI hits from Austin Bates, Tomo Otosaka and Brian Rey extending the lead and leaving the Stormers with little chance to make the game competitive.
Lancaster’s only run came on Alan Alonso’s RBI groundout in the fifth, a brief answer that did little to change the tone. Scott kept Lancaster off balance throughout his eight innings, and York’s pitching finish was just as emphatic, with Hunter Parsons striking out the side in the ninth to close out a night that featured 15 York strikeouts overall.

Rey’s night added another layer to the win. He extended his hit streak to 18 games and reached 60 RBIs, a steady production line that matched the power surge around him. Between Scott’s command in punishing heat and a lineup that kept stacking extra-base damage, York opened the second half with the kind of performance that looked less like a hot streak and more like a reset.
