Stonewall Sports San Francisco’s summer kickball season opened with a different rhythm than the usual once-a-week rec league, stacking Tuesday and Saturday games into a run that began June 16 and runs through August 30.

The all-gender league also points to a 2026 tournament on August 11, with finals built into the bracket and the division label visible as Fabulous. That puts a championship checkpoint in the middle of the summer rather than at the end of it, giving teams a target to build toward before the regular schedule even closes.

That cadence changes how the season works. A typical recreational kickball league gives teams one game night and a steady weekly routine; Stonewall’s San Francisco setup asks for two separate touchpoints every week, which can shape attendance, roster planning and how managers distribute innings and legs over a long summer stretch.
