TRINITY Courts brings padel to Bali's Nusa Dua resort scene

The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali, added Trinity Courts, a new destination for tennis, padel and pickleball, to its resort grounds. The project places padel inside one of Bali’s most established luxury travel corridors, where the sport can reach hotel guests as part of a stay rather than as a club membership decision.

ANTARA described Trinity Courts as a new active-lifestyle destination in Nusa Dua, and that framing fits the way padel has spread across resort settings in Indonesia. The Laguna had already signaled a broader repositioning when it announced a revamp in 2023, and Trinity Courts extends that guest experience into racquet sports. In Nusa Dua, the move does not arrive in isolation. Ayodya Resort Bali announced Bali’s first international-standard padel club in June 2025, turning the district into the island’s clearest resort-based padel cluster.

That matters because padel tends to take root where people can try it casually, then come back for more. A resort court can be the first touchpoint for travelers who know tennis or pickleball but have never stepped into a glass-walled padel cage. It can also give families and mixed-sport groups a place to rotate between games, which is how padel often enters a destination market before it enters a local club calendar.

Bali’s racquet-sport scene is already moving beyond pure novelty. Tatler Padel Series Bali 2026 ran July 23-26 at Bali Social Club, giving the island a competition calendar that is not tied to a single hotel stay. Elsewhere on the island, Mouratoglou Tennis Center Bali markets court rental for tennis, padel and pickleball, while NIHI Sumba promotes a padel court as part of its resort offer. Those properties show how premium hospitality is using the sport to widen its appeal.

The open question is whether Trinity Courts becomes more than a luxury amenity. Padel’s long-term footprint in Bali will depend on whether Nusa Dua courts create repeat players, coaching, accessible booking windows and enough events to build habit, not just holiday pictures. For now, The Laguna has added another visible node to a market where the sport is spreading through resorts first and clubs second.
