TSC Adult Dodgeball League sets July 31 sign-up deadline

TSC Adult Dodgeball League is pressing a July 31 sign-up deadline for anyone trying to get a team in place before its August 3v3, making this the final week for adults who need a roster together. The league used a July 25 Instagram reel to frame the cutoff as a last call for sign-ups, a message aimed squarely at last-minute entrants, friend groups and returning recreational players.

The smaller format is the hook. A 3v3 game speeds up the pace, increases the number of touches each player gets and puts more pressure on every throw, catch and dodge. For adults who do not have a full eight- or 10-player side ready, that lower roster barrier can be the difference between sitting out and getting on the court. The league’s August 3v3 is listed for Sunday, Aug. 30 at 5, giving teams a target once registration closes.

Boston’s wider dodgeball calendar shows why the deadline matters. Boston Dodgeball League says it runs league play on Tuesdays and Sundays and hosts Sunday open gyms in Somerville, Massachusetts, with no advanced registration required. A July 11 Instagram post from the league described a playoff run that battled back through the loser’s bracket before ending in a tie, a reminder that the competitive scene in Boston is already moving through summer brackets and elimination play.

Other local listings show the same tight seasonal rhythm. Pride Sports Boston’s Summer 2026 dodgeball season runs from July 1 through Aug. 12 and lists players from 21 to 80 years old, a wide age range that underscores how broad the adult game has become. A Boston event listing for BDL x CCC at Boston University used WDBF rules, a mixed bring-your-own-team format and a maximum of 10 players per roster, with a 3:3 on-court ratio. Registration for that event opened April 12 at 9 a.m. EDT and closed at the end of May or when 16 teams filled.

For TSC, the July 31 cutoff is about locking in the next stage before the summer schedule turns over. Once that window closes, the league can finalize teams for an August 3v3 built around smaller rosters, faster decisions and a format that fits adults who want organized dodgeball without needing to assemble a large bench.
