Lincoln’s placement fits the production behind the buzz. He committed to TCU on Jan. 29 and was labeled the No. 1 JUCO prospect from Gulf Coast State headed to TCU, while 247Sports also included him in its 2026 Top Basketball Recruits page for the junior-college group. At the time of his commitment, Lincoln was averaging 19.7 points, 6.1 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game. Gulf Coast State Athletics later listed him at 36 games played, 36 starts, 1,335 total minutes and 37.1 minutes per game, with 228 made field goals on 527 attempts for 43.3 percent shooting.

That is the part high-major staffs keep paying for in junior-college recruiting: a guard who has already carried offense against older players, logged starter-level minutes and shown he can handle a full load without waiting a year to develop. Lincoln’s line against TSC Eagles on Jan. 17 sharpened that case even more, with 20 points and 9 rebounds in a game that showed why his name climbed so quickly.

His postseason honors made the national case even cleaner. Gulf Coast State Athletics named Lincoln the Panhandle Conference Player of the Year on March 6, and later recognition as the 2026 FCSAA Male Athlete of the Year matched the rest of the résumé. WJHG/WECP said he helped Gulf Coast State to a state-tournament semifinal and a trip to nationals, while the FCSAA site listed the team at 28-8 overall and 7-5 in conference play.

The ranking snapshot matters because Lincoln is not just a portal entry with a familiar logo beside his name. He is a junior-college guard whose value is being measured like a ready-made Division I piece, and TCU is the program cashing in on that shift.
