Uplift LA Kickball Tournament returns July 24 with sponsor-backed format

Uplift LA’s kickball tournament will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, at The Ron Morin Memorial Fields in Lewiston, Maine, with two-game round robin play, playoffs and games staged simultaneously across multiple fields. Sponsor backing helps cover team apparel, field operations, food service, participant materials and promotional visibility.

Teams can enter with 9 to 12 players, including eight fielders, two stand-ins and two base coaches, or sign up as individuals who will be placed on a team. Every player receives a team T-shirt and a $5 food voucher, and the winning team takes home $100 toward a team celebration plus bragging rights. Registration closes July 2, and the event will run rain or shine, with pauses only for thunderstorms.

The tournament is open to players 12 and older who are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Beer garden access is limited to those 21 and older. Burnt Ends BBQ is the on-site food provider, and Baxter Brewing will host the beer garden.

Uplift LA lists an annual sponsor investment of $3,000, with premier logo placement on its website and recognition during events and programming, plus a $250 monthly sponsor tier with priority logo placement on marketing materials.

Previous champions include Health Affiliates Maine in 2018, Camden National Bank in 2022, Recovery Connections of Maine, LLC in 2023, City of Lewiston in 2024 and THE MISFITZ in 2025. Uplift LA’s mission is to strengthen rising professionals in the Lewiston-Auburn area through career, social and community development.
