Wicomico Wiffle Ball League posts standings as registration deadline arrives

The Wicomico Wiffle Ball League used a July 29 Instagram post to flag that registration was closing, with the deadline set for 5 p.m. ET Monday, Aug. 10, 2026. The same update carried standings through July 11, 2026, and turned a routine sign-up notice into a clear midseason read on who had separated from the field.

Longballs sat first with an 18-5 record after 23 games and 135.0 points, the league’s highest total in the standings snapshot. Juggernauts were right behind at 17-4 after 21 games with 124.0 points, and the asterisk next to their name marked them as an auto-bid team. That combination of record, point total and bracket status put the two clubs at the center of the postseason picture even before the rest of the table fully settled.

The numbers showed more than a tight race at the top. Longballs had already played two more games than Juggernauts, but still held the best record and the biggest point total in the July 11 standings. Juggernauts, meanwhile, had lost only four times and had already locked in the type of position every league wants before the bracket is finalized. For everyone else, the gap underlined how quickly the front end of the standings had started to separate.

The league’s QuickScores standings and printable schedule pages place the competition under Wicomico County Recreation & Parks, which lists Wiffle Ball as one of its adult sports programs. The team page names Mark Timmons as coach for WHD, gives a rain-out and cancellation line at 410-548-4900 ext. 190 after 3 p.m., and sets a roster freeze date of Aug. 16, 2026.

The same QuickScores archive also points to the league’s recent history. Master Batters won the title in 2021, then again in 2022 and 2023, beating Wiffle Bombers in the first championship and Grip It & Whiff It in the next two. With that kind of repeated champion in the background, the current front-runners have a concrete benchmark in front of them as the roster freeze approaches and the standings harden.
