Darren - June 7, 2021

Sometimes emotions get the best of people, and this unfortunately quite often in sports. We’ve seen teammates square up to each other and brawls erupt between teams. Usually, these flashpoints fizzle out very quickly and the sports stars just get on with it. However, something much more sinister is when fans have assaulted athletes.

Fan assaults can occur in many ways. The most common way is fans throwing items at the players as we’ve seen far too often in the 2021 NBA postseason. But sometimes it gets even more violent.
