Most people see Elam as a late first-rounder or as a second-round steal because of his high ceiling. Anyway, the Gators’ cornerback is an incredibly fast athlete. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.39 seconds at the NFL combine. Scouts appreciate his aggression and defensive stickiness.
