23. Boca v River
Boca Juniors and River Plate are two of the biggest soccer clubs in Argentina. The two teams originated in the La Boca district of Buenos Aires and became fierce rivals. This is more than a clash of rival teams. It’s also a war of social values that pits family members against each other. Nicknamed the Superclasico, for many people, this is the most passionate soccer rivalry on the entire planet.

Fans in attendance expect to experience pyrotechnics and smoke bombs in one of the liveliest fixtures in sports. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime event but can be very dangerous. Fights between fans are common and their 2018 Copa Libertadores final went down in Spain to avoid tensions. Nonetheless, nobody does passion like these two sets of supporters and it’s a magnificent occasion.
