38. Greg Schiano
Schiano is a legend in New Jersey after transforming Rutgers’ football program. His 2006 was spectacular as they won the Texas Bowl and Schiano took home several Coach of the Year awards. The NFL watched his success with a relatively small school with interest. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers decided to make him their new head coach in 2012, but it didn’t work out at all.

The coach’s preferred style of play was too intense for the NFL. Meanwhile, his relationship with still-developing quarterback Josh Freeman was nonexistent. A franchise has problems when the head coach and quarterback can’t talk to each other. To make matters worse, Tampa Bay suffered a rampant MRSA infection that affected the team. After two losing seasons, Schiano’s dream of making it in the pro game was in the ground.
