In 2015, the Dallas Cowboys star Greg Hardy became embroiled in a messy legal battle. His ex-girlfriend accused him of battery but failed to show for the second court date. This was despite the publication of photographs of her battered face. In 2019, Conor McGregor stunned the world with a scandalous action.
