Many consider Peter Schmeichal to be the best goalkeeper in Premier League history. The Danish international played a major role in Manchester United’s success through the 1990s. Furthermore, he even scored 10 goals across his professional career. The elder Schmeichel also famously never lost a Manchester derby despite playing for both teams in the city.
