You could put the Suns at the bottom of this list if you felt especially harsh. FiveThirtyEight projected that they have less than a one percent chance to be a playoff team. But that doesn’t reflect the fact they look ironically stronger now ahead of the return and better than several teams who should progress.

It’s almost too little too late, but the fact is that they have several key players coming back so they should be able to make some teams sweat at the very least. The Suns were plus-7.2 points per 100 possessions when Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, and Ricky Rubio were all on the floor.
