17. Hypocrites
Many figures in the NFL like to make a big deal out Kaepernick’s disloyalty to his country. They believe that by kneeling during the anthem you are disrespecting the country and every military veteran who has served it. However, the reality is that excerpt 176 of the United States flag code says that laying the flag out horizontally is disrespectful.

That happens before every NFL game. There is nothing in the code about kneeling. Navy Seal Green Beret Nate Boyer actually gave him the idea of kneeling. 49ers Teammate Eric Reid also knelt with him and has three family members in the military. It’s hypocritical to criticize Kaepernick for his stance.
