The Golden State Warriors are one of the strongest teams in the NBA each year, but that wasn’t always the case. Their success over the past decade coincided with the rise of Steph Curry. They faced the Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs and were big underdogs.

Denver had a bunch of exciting talents like Andre Iguodala and Ty Lawson. Meanwhile, they scored more points than any other franchise in the regular season. But somehow Curry and co. won the series 4-2 and knocked them out of playoff contention (via ESPN).
