This wasn’t how Tim Duncan envisaged the end of his career. San Antonio had an excellent regular season with the most dominant record in the entire NBA. They made it through the first round of the playoffs before meeting the Thunder. But that was the end of the road.

Oklahoma’s victory was all about their successful defense. The Spurs crushed them in the first game but then couldn’t break through in the remaining ties. Meanwhile, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook combined for outstanding performances (via The42).
