38. Garrett Temple
One of LSU’s best-ever players, Temple was excellent on the college scene. But despite this, he went undrafted and ended up in the G-League with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. This came after the Houston Rockets waived the Baton Rouge native. In sum, he had everything to prove if he wanted to feature in the NBA, nevermind win a Championship ring.

It took Temple several years to prove that he was ready for the big leagues. After bouncing up and down between the NBA and the development league, Temple finally established himself. He spent several seasons in Washington with the Wizards before spells with the Kings and the Nets. In 2020, he joined the Chicago Bulls. It must have felt crazy to pull on the same shirt as Michael Jordan after playing in the G-League.
