36. Royce O’Neale
This Texas native took a long and meandering route to the NBA. O’Neale went on a Grand Tour after he finished college because he went undrafted. First of all, he played in Germany. Then, he spent time in Spain before his final European adventure in Lithuania. This gave him a wealth of experience and his perseverance paid off because he eventually found his way to the NBA.

O’Neale deserves credit because not many Americans have managed to bounce back like this. He impressed for the Salt Lake City Stars in the Summer League. Then, the Utah Jazz brought him back from their affiliate and gave him a contract. He continued to play well and it looks like he has found his home in the home of the Mormons. What a wild ride it has been.
