19. Taco Charlton
It’s not Charlton’s fault that the Cowboys took a gamble on him. But fans can’t forget that T.J. Watt was waiting in the wings. They could have selected him in 2017 but ‘America’s Team’ went in a different direction. Instead of selecting a future Defensive Player of the Year candidate, they made one of their worst picks of the last decade (via Fansided).

His rookie season was average at best as he racked up three sacks and 19 tackles. Then he regressed the following season to the despair of his coaches. Meanwhile, Watt was the image of consistency for Pittsburgh. Only Aaron Donald played better than him in the entire NFL. Finally, the Cowboys cut ties with Charlton and waived him after two miserable seasons.
