He is a bit controversial because he represents the modern player. Claypool is extremely active online but some fans wish that he would focus more on his football. There’s no denying that he has a high ceiling but the pressure is on him to prove he can live up to it (via Larry Brown Sports).

It’s not easy being the starting quarterback of the world’s most lucrative sports franchise. Prescott has had a decent career with the Cowboys but hasn’t set the NFL on fire in the postseason. Then he infuriated his fanbase with some sarcastic comments about their post-game actions (via ESPN).

Everybody with a recognizable name in Dallas is under pressure because the team keeps underperforming. It’s down to Prescott to lead the way and inspire his team to glory. There’s a strong argument that Gallup is one of the NFL’s most overrated players. It remains to be seen how he bounces back from the latter. Historically, an ACL tear stripped players of their pace but medical science is at a higher level now. This is a major problem for Arizona because he is a key part of their offense and one of Kyler Murray’s most important weapons. When he returns he must return to form immediately but it may be too late.

Drew Brees retired in 2019 and left a gaping hole in the Saints’ quarterback room. In the end, Winston became the starter and led the team to a 5-2 record before injuries ended his season. Winston showed signs of progress last season with fewer interceptions than in his days in Tampa. The talent is there but the question is if he’s mentally capable of being a starter.
