Nobody had big expectations for Goff or the Lions in 2021. But they won’t be as reasonable this season after a year of settling into a new city and offense. There’s a strong argument that Gallup is one of the NFL’s most overrated players. Drew Brees retired in 2019 and left a gaping hole in the Saints’ quarterback room. In the end, Winston became the starter and led the team to a 5-2 record before injuries ended his season.
