Some people are determined to find reasons to hate Mahomes but it’s difficult because there aren’t many reasons. Even the biggest Chiefs haters struggle to hate their quarterback because he is almost boring. Tom Brady and Bill Belichick brought several cheating scandals to the Patriots so it was easier to despise their dynasty.

It helps that the Chiefs haven’t enjoyed the same dominance in terms of Super Bowl wins. Nor were there episodes like DeflateGate or SpyGate to pick on. Yes, it’s possible to point the finger at Britt Reid after his DUI before Super Bowl LXV. But that has nothing to do with Mahomes, who’s having the best season of his career (via CBS Sports).
