Mahomes is the best leader in the AFC West right now and motivates his teammates to improve themselves. Many fans had high hopes for the Raiders after Davante Adams reunited with Derek Carr. Meanwhile, some people projected the Broncos to be contenders because they traded for Russell Wilson.

Justin Herbert is playing well for the Chargers but their roster isn’t as strong as Kansas City’s. Furthermore, Mahomes sets the standards that Herbert hopes to emulate. “There is not a throw on the field that he can’t make. He’s able to do everything,” Herbert said. “He’s one of the best to ever do it”(via L.A. Times).
