Chad Pennington
Pennington holds the record for the most Comeback Player of the Year awards with two. People wrote him off on multiple occasions, but he stormed back against all odds. The quarterback had a rough 2005 after he tore his rotator cuff. This was a terrible injury for his position but he responded well to treatment.

His final season in New York saw him lose his roster spot to Brett Favre. This came after a series of minor injuries and a decline in form. Then he moved to the Dolphins and reignited his career. He was a serious MVP contender but in the end, he won his second Comeback Player of the Year (via Bleacher Report).
