Keenan Allen
There’s nothing worse than when a star player injures themselves in the opening game of the season. The Chargers endured this in 2016 when Allen tore his ACL against the Chiefs. He didn’t even make it out of the first half before the long road to recovery began. Fans didn’t see him again for the rest of the year.

This is one of the worst injuries for a wide receiver because it takes away their burst and ability to cut. Many athletes including wide receivers and running backs lost a step because of knee ligament tears. Luckily, the surgeons did a good job and Allen stormed back. The motivated Chargers star won the Comeback Player of the Year Award too (via NFL.com).
