Later it emerged that Joshua suffered a recent knockout in training. Perhaps this affected his performance because he failed to overwhelm his opponent. He knocked Ruiz down early but the Mexican came storming back. Then Ruiz secured the finish after Joshua failed to answer the referee’s count in the seventh round (via Insider).

There’s a time and a place to take a break during a game of soccer. Unfortunately, Brazil’s Roberto Carlos decided to tie his shoelace at the worst possible moment. The brilliant French striker raced behind the Brazilian defense and scored the winner. It was a horrible moment for Carlos because it was completely his fault.
