26. Arik Armstead
Armstead is working hard in training this offseason because he wants to prove his 10-sack season was no fluke. After signing a lucrative five-year deal to remain with the San Francisco 49ers, he’ll get every chance to show why he’s making one of the biggest salaries in the league for a defender. It’s been a sharp rise for the former Oregon Duck.

The 49ers will pay him $85 million over five years and he’ll make about $20 million in 2020 alone. They clearly want to keep their best players together as they look to go one better than last year and win the Super Bowl. This is still a young team, but one that is growing.
