13. Drew Brees
A veteran still playing at the highest level of the game, Brees genuinely expects to contend for the Super Bowl in what could be his final season this year. Like Tom Brady, Brees also signed a two-year $50 million deal this offseason. The New Orleans Saints offered him an extension which he gratefully accepted.

This will make him one of the highest-paid players of 2020. The 13-time Pro Bowler won the Lombardi Trophy in 2009. The Saints have come close to replicating their victory since then, but have narrowly missed out on several occasions in the playoffs. Will this be their year?
