39. Landon Collins
The Redskins made Collins their big-name free agent signing in 2019 because they saw the safety as a massive franchise building block. He was excellent for the New York Giants and made three Pro Bowl appearances during his time in the ‘Big Apple.’ He was a 2016 All-Pro selection so he has the pedigree to be a brilliant player for the now-Washington Football Team.

Collins signed a four-year contract with Washington and will earn him a potential $84 million. Furthermore, his guaranteed annual income is $16 million. This is one of the best salaries in his position but also shows the cost of luring prime players to a franchise as free agents. Collins has it all to prove if he wants to justify such a massive investment. Luckily, he plays in a weak division.
