32. Dave De La Rosa
De La Rosa only had a short career in MLB, but he was a larger-than-life presence throughout this time. During his four seasons in the Major Leagues, he played for the Tampa Bay Rays and the Angels of Anaheim. But he also enjoyed success in the minor leagues. Furthermore, De La Rosa was incredibly big for a baseball player and was one of the tallest players of his era.

He spent his career as a relief pitcher and had an ERA of 4.5 and recorded 78 strikeouts. At six foot seven inches, he didn’t look like a natural baseball player but he had a powerful pitch. After his retirement from MLB, De La Rosa briefly returned to baseball in the Atlantic League. But his comeback didn’t last very long. He wasn’t amazing but he was definitely larger-than-life.
