35. Jrue Holiday (Drafted 17th Overall In 2009)
Ever since Jrue Holiday entered the league in 2009, he had something special. However, it took him a little bit to figure things out seemingly. By year two, he seemed to know how to operate. Originally drafted by the 76ers, he played well there before ending up with New Orleans.
Jrue not only improved his own scoring but he also was able to become a tremendous passer, just as he was in college. He’s also a defensive nightmare, as he averages around 2 steals a game. Holiday has been an NBA All-Star and landed on the NBA All-Defensive First Team in 2018 & the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2019. Certainly, among the best NBA Draft steals in our books.
