Time To Go
One of the worst aspects of the Sixers’ embarrassing defeat was the way they collapsed in the final quarter. They lacked inspiration and Doc Rivers couldn’t stem the tide. One unforgivable statistic emerged from the game because they scored once in a stretch of 16 possessions. That’s almost impossible to conceive but it’s what happened (via Sportskeeda).

Rivers identified when it began because he said things went wrong in the second quarter. They committed turnovers that affected their momentum. But he didn’t do anything meaningful to change the game and it felt like his best players gave up on him. Unfortunately, the river ran dry for Philadelphia’s head coach. It’s time for him to pack his bags and leave the playoff chokers.
