Mitchell Wiggins
Wiggins was a shooting guard for the Rockets but his career came to an unceremonious end. The seedy superstar enjoyed a party and took cocaine. This didn’t combine well with the NBA’s drug policy and he found himself on the wrong end of a suspension (via The Focus).
After his ban expired, Wiggins tried to return to the NBA. However, Philadelphia was the only team with a genuine interest and demanded a physical drug test. Wiggins refused and never played in the league again. But he experienced redemption through his Championship-winning son, Andrew.
